For Sale is an unusual, genuine, antique, wooden workbench from the late 1800's. I didn't find any identification as to maker. The top surface is oak. The base is of some other kind of wood. Please VIEW THE PICTURES I have attached. It has two wooden-threaded-drive vises built into the construction. There is a rather small repair on the surface above the vise on the right. My pictures show where there a piece of wood (above the worm-drive) that was split. That piece is missing (I could provide you with some oak for the task). I have restored dozens of similar workbenches over the years and can assure you it would turn out wonderful if a person were inclined to fully restore it. Physically my body no longer allows me to do such work. Looking at the pictures one can see framework in the base where there could have been 4 drawers and perhaps even a door for a cubby. Possibilities exist! All that I have done to it is to clean up the obvious dust and dirt. The top work surface will lift off the base for transportation. Feel free to contact me with any questions. You can reach me by calling or texting any day from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. (leave message if no answer).
