1981 Evinrude 25hp 20" Short Shaft motor. I purchased this 8 years ago, and ran it for only 2 years before getting a new boat/motor. It's been sitting in the garage since. I have no use for it because I have older late '50's motors that I want to restore and this doesn't fit my uses any longer. You how it's said...ran great when I used it last. But, these big twins are tough to pull start and I'm graduated to E-start now -especially at my age. I can't get it to fire, and I'm done trying. Feels like it has good compression, and it pushed my 14' Sylvan around just great when I was using it. Sold that boat to an older cousin that didn't want the motor because he put a new E-start Merc on it. I'm sure it'll be a great motor for someone that wants to put a little effort into it. Can be seen near Clinton, WI. Includes the fuel tank shown (which could use a new hose and primer, but connectors are good). Does NOT include the stand. The only thing missing is the tilt stop pin, and I can't find it. Cash only, in my driveway. $400.
